Pi Spawner

Pi Spawner is a Codex plugin for delegating read-only subtasks to Pi CLI model workers. Codex stays in control as the orchestrator and final editor, while Pi workers provide specialist analysis, drafts, reviews, or patch proposals with per-task provider, model, thinking level, route, alias, and optional session continuity.

The useful part is the routing and failure discipline. A bundled model config maps code, planning, writing, review, and design tasks to aliases such as Kimi, DeepSeek, Qwen, and Gemini, then the wrapper resolves the final command, runs workers concurrently, and normalizes each result into summary, diff, raw output, errors, diagnostics, and the resolved command. It keeps workers on read-only tools by default and avoids silent model fallback when provider authentication or model availability fails.
