In KRAFTON’s FDE track, we had three hours to interview a team lead from KRAFTON’s esports organization, turn their needs into clear requirements, and build an interview simulator using OpenAI’s speech-to-text model. Fitting problem definition, interaction design, implementation, and validation into three hours was intense, but also a lot of fun. Looking back at my work and reviewing the winning solution helped me spot a few things I could improve and gave me some useful ideas to take forward. It was also a good reminder that software engineering fundamentals matter even more when you need to move fast and adapt along the way.
